Schedule for the Lok Sabha elections will change after the Air strikes? EC responds

Election Commission has cleared its stand on Tuesday following questions related to changes in the dates of Lok Sabha elections after the Pulwama attack and the action of the Air Force. The Election Commission has said that he is currently keeping an eye on the developments of the country. Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa said while talking to the media in this regard that the EC is committed to following the order given by the Constitution. He further said that Election Commission Pulwama is keeping an eye on the ongoing developments in the country after the terrorist response and the response of the government in the form of aerial assault of the Air Force. Lavasa was answering the question, whether the Pulwama attack on February 14 and the response from the government on it will affect the schedule of the for the general elections .

Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party, which combine alliances in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections in 2019 , has been divided into seats today. Both the parties will contest the 75 seats together. Bahujan Samaj Party will fight 38 and Samajwadi Party will contest 37 seats. After the consent of Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, the two parties have announced their seats today.
